A true factotum, Lisa Chambliss is an actress, singer & designer with her own lingerie startup. Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Lisa is best known in the acting world for her work in Magic Max, The Glue That Binds Us (2017), and Kingdom of Sin (2016). An independent musical artist since 2011, Lisa goes by L.A. Bliss for her music, releasing her first demo in 2001. Signed for modeling when she was a teenager, Lisa has no shortage of the skills she needs or knowledge of the performing arts hemisphere.
Lisa has been singing and dancing since she was four years old, always being involved in choir, acapella singing groups, dance classes (ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop), cheerleading, gymnastics; truly, you name it. A graduate of Florida State, Lisa earned her degree in Interior Design and she prides herself on being a renaissance woman since birth. In her self-proclaimed, “full life”, Lisa has been a dental assistant, interior designer, black jack dealer, bartender - the list goes on. All of these life experiences aid her performing arts career, as she is able to be a chameleon and adapt to whatever role is laid before her. Acting professionally in L.A. for the past nine years, Lisa has dedicated these chapters of her life to pursuing her passions in acting and music. In addition to her professional passions, Lisa loves animals and hopes to build an animal sanctuary soon. A huge environmentalist, she is passionate about giving back to others. Most influenced by pop-icons of the 80’s like Nicole Kidman and Betty White, those closest to Lisa describe her as loyal, honorable, dependable, hard worker, go-getter, goofy, loving, kind, and bold. |
An oxymoron in her own right, Lisa is proud to be someone who has lived many lives within one. Using acting as a tool to delve into roles where her life experiences can help her find an emotional connection to her characters, she is an investigative actress who relies on research and experience to bring roles to life. Disagreeing with the phrase “master of none,” Lisa believes we are all masters of life if we can remember our past experiences and pull from them. She has experienced all walks of life and is always striving for more.
